My skin i have set as is the baby ghast but my in-game character is always reverted back to either steve or alex for some reason

Ok... but my phone (the device i am using to submit the bug) won't let me use the Beta 1.11.0.7 as a viable version since i am on the better together minecraft xbox one console... and i am still new at submitting bugs...
