Details:
Windows 10 22H2 on a device with a keyboard and mouse, without a touchscreen.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press 't' to start typing a message or '/' to start typing a command
2. Immediately enter text
Observed Results:
Text is cut off by a few seconds
Expected Results:
Text typed quickly gets through to the chat box.

Someone said "Maybe go into mc settings to change shortcut in menu".
Changing the open chat and and open command keys does not fix this.
