Elder Guardians Just Chillin In The Corner Of An Old World Type

I am unable to reproduce this on MCPE 0.16.1 on Samsung galaxy tab 4 android 5.0.2
The Elder guardian burns and dies and despawns when I set it to peaceful.
I notice you have a texture pack, does this issue still occur on new world without any resource/add-on packs added?

It happens without the fantasy texture pack enabled on a new world on 0.16.1

Sandstone flat world vs randomly generated world

I was able to reproduce this in the south western corner of an old type world. Last time I tested i was in the north east corner.
