Using the middle mouse button ( pick block / select on hotbar ) during survival/creative/adventure mode opens the spectator hotbar when switching to spectator mode.
Steps to reproduce:
While in survival/creatve/adventure mode, use the middle mouse button. (Pick-blocking does not need to succeed)
Switch to spectator mode using F3+F4
Expected result:
The spectator hotbar does not show like in previous versions
Actual result:
The spectator hotbar appears

Mouse: Using Logitech Pebble M350s, but happens with other wireless mouse / built in trackpad as well (Using the MiddleClick app for middle clicking with trackpad, but seems unrelated to this issue)
CPU: Apple M4
RAM: 24GB
GPU: Apple M4 (10 GPU Cores)
Using standard settings in macOS + Using Fluor app to control the setting ‘Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys’, disabling the app and turning on the above macOS setting still causes this issue
Upon further investigation, this issue only happens when the setting ‘Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys’ is enabled and when key combo F3+F4 or F3+N is pressed to switch to spectator. Using /gamemode does not cause this issue.
It also seems to occur when the hotkey ‘Select on Hotbar’ is pressed rather than the Middle Mouse Button itself. For example, set ‘Select on Hotbar’ to 'O' and press O while in survival, the moment you switch to spectator (Using F3+N) the hotbar will show up.
The action of Pick-Blocking itself does not seem to be related to this issue.

Do you also use some non-standard settings for key toggles for macOS?
