To reproduce:
place a shulkerbox in a sideways orientation
place block on the second block behind the shulkerbox's head
go standing in between the shulkerbox and the block.
open the shulkerbox
⌠ you get pushed on top of the block, and don't return to the block when the shulkerbox is closed again

This might be fixed in the next snapshot. MC-212537
Could be different.
It remains strange.
Maybe there can be added something to prevent shulkerboxes from pushing entities into blocks?

Most likely Works as Intended.
The hitbox of the shulker box changes when you open it, extending it into the block that you are stood in. This pushes you into the block that is behind you, therefore pushing you upward onto it. You do not get pulled by the shulker box (this would not make sense).
