Can't sign in to Microsoft account on switch

Ever since the 1.16.20 update I have been logout of my Microsoft account and unable to log back in. I have deleted my game and redownloaded it and this didn't work, I bought minecraft for my phone and login in with my account there and that works but I still can't log in on my switch. This isn't the first time an update has logged me out but it's never been this long before, I see others with this issue and I'm just as annoyed as them. Currently on version 1.16.21 but that didn't help with anything.
