If a player were to use a warped fungus on a stick to control a strider, they will not be able to jump onto magma blocks or the surface of blocks with fire on them. Interestingly enough, striders alone can jump onto these areas with or without a player riding them (as intended); however, as soon as a player holds a warped fungus on a stick, they will no longer do so.
