2.06 is the version my ps4 says minecraft is in. anyway, gold was supposed to be easier to enchant and be able to have more enchantments right? well I have a set of diamond armor with six enchantments, and I got all the enchantment books to make a gold set of the armor with the same or similar enchantment for the upcoming nether update to console, though even when I did the enchantments in the best order to get the most out of it, I still couldn't get one or two enchantments on gold armor despite being able too on my diamond armor. I was stopped by the too expensive that appears under it. so my bug report here is simply a matter of gold is not easier to enchant if not a slight bit harder to. the pictures show what enchantments the diamond has in comparison to the gold, and the last enchantment can't be added. all the armor and other gold items were newly made too. my world is a fully survival no cheat world. I'm not sure what other systems or versions this effects or if this was intentional, but as far as I know, it's a bug.

The higher “enchantability” of gold applies to enchanting gold items on the enchantment table. It has no impact on the cost of adding enchantments with the anvil.
The cost to add enchantments on an anvil goes up each time you add an enchantment. This means that putting everything onto a book before you combine the book with an item is a very inefficient way to add enchantments to the item.
