When playing Minecraft Bedrock on PS5 in local splitscreen mode, custom furniture blocks from the Marketplace Add-on Furniture 2.0 are not rendered correctly.
As soon as the second local player joins, the following issues occur:
Item icons from the add-on disappear in the recipe book
Placed furniture blocks become completely invisible in the world
This affects both Player 1 and Player 2
The blocks still have collision and interaction, but no visuals
The issue does not occur in singleplayer mode and did not occur immediately after purchase, but started suddenly after a later game update.
Marketplace Content
Furniture 2.0
Creator: XP Games
Source: Minecraft Marketplace
Steps to Reproduce:
Start Minecraft on PS5
Activate the Marketplace Add-on Furniture 2.0
Create or load a world
Join the world with one local player
Furniture blocks are visible and work correctly
Add a second local player (splitscreen)
Place furniture blocks from the add-on
Expected Result:
Furniture blocks from the add-on are visible for both players
Recipe book shows item icons correctly
Same behavior as in singleplayer mode
Actual Result:
Furniture blocks are invisible for both players
Recipe book icons are missing
Only collision/interactions remain
Vanilla blocks render normally
Additional Notes
The issue affects multiple Marketplace add-ons that use custom blocks
It appears to be a splitscreen-specific rendering regression
The same add-on works correctly in:
Singleplayer
Online multiplayer (non-splitscreen)
