Debug shapes detach from entities when outside render distance

Expected behaviour

Debug shapes attached to an entity should remain attached regardless of the client's render distance.
If the entity is outside render distance, the shape should either:

  • remain attached but not render, or

  • de-render together with the entity.

At no point should the shape detach while the entity is still loaded and ticking.

Observed behaviour

When an entity is loaded but outside the client's render distance:

  • The debug shape attaches successfully but does not render.

  • Once the entity re-enters render distance, the shape appears and is correctly attached.

  • When the entity leaves render distance again:

    • the shape continues rendering,

    • but detaches from the entity and no longer follows its movement.

  • Returning to the entity again shows the shape no longer attached.

Reproduction

  • Import the attached .mcaddon into Preview v26.0.27.

  • Enter a world and run: /summon king:persistent (The entity remains loaded and ticking.)

  • Fly away until the entity is outside render distance.

  • Run: /king:bounds

  • Fly back to the entity’s location:

    • The debug shape appears and is attached correctly.

  • Fly out of render distance again:

    • The shape continues rendering but no longer moves with the entity.

  • Fly back once more:

    • The shape is no longer attached to the entity.

Notes

  • The entity remains loaded the entire time; only client render distance changes.

  • This appears to be a client-side render / attachment lifecycle issue rather than entity unloading.
