Swipe/Mouse Acceleration Issue

Ongoing swipe/mouse acceleration issue where the speed of turning affects the amount of rotation. This is shown in the video below.

From the video, my first slow swipe across half my screen (shown using the 'show taps' feature on Android) rotates my camera by around 360°.

In the second swipe which was faster, my camera rotated a much larger amount at around 630° despite the fact that I swiped the same amount(half my screen).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a Minecraft world on a phone with any sensitivity value.

  2. Using fingers, carefully swipe across half the screen slowly.

  3. Record rotation amount in degrees.

  4. Return back to original camera position before step 2

  5. Using fingers again, carefully swipe across half the screen with a greater speed than step 2.

  6. Record rotation amount in degrees again

Expected results: both swipes from step 2 and step 4 should rotate the camera the same amount.

Actually results: swipe from step 2 produced a smaller rotation degree compared to swipe from step 4.

[Suggestions]: add an option to choose between fixed acceleration(speed of swiping on the screen does not affect the amount of rotation, only the distance of swiping affects amount of rotation) to match with expected results .

and speed acceleration(current sensitivity “issue”) to match with actually current results.

This would make it easier for players from other games to transition to Minecraft bedrock, while keeping aiming consistent across different games. Thank you for your time.

Please edit your report to change the Affected Version to the version shown on the Minecraft title screen

Please fix this issue. It makes Minecraft almost unplayable for people who are used to playing on fixed acceleration.
