We are playing the Stranger Things DLC in Minecraft Bedrock on PlayStation 5 using split-screen (local multiplayer).
• When only Player 1 is in the world, the game works normally and all furniture, skins, and animations load correctly.
• As soon as Player 2 joins the game in split-screen, several critical issues occur for BOTH players:
- All furniture and decorative objects from the DLC disappear for both Player 1 and Player 2.
- Character animations become broken, with visible holes or missing parts in the models.
- Several skins fail to load and do not appear correctly.
- If one of these bugged skins is selected, the player becomes completely invisible.
- In Creative Mode, it is only possible to play using the Dustin Season 1 skin; all other skins are missing or broken.
• If Player 2 leaves the game and Player 1 continues playing alone, all content returns to normal.
This issue happens every time and completely breaks the split-screen experience.
We are extremely frustrated because we spent money not only on Minecraft itself, but also on this paid Stranger Things DLC, and the content is currently unplayable in split-screen mode on PS5. This makes the purchase feel wasted, as local multiplayer was one of the main reasons for buying the game and the DLC.
This is happening to me too, it's ridiculous how many bugs came with this partnership.
