In Minecraft Bedrock Dedicated Server version 1.21.131.1, I have observed repeated [Json] ... "attack_interval" is disabled (max <= 0); goal will fall back to "scan_interval" (ticks) warnings for multiple hostile mobs (e.g., zombies, skeletons, creepers, phantoms).
These warnings appear for all default and custom behavior packs and cause instability on large servers, including frequent player kicks on servers with thousands of active players. Attempting to manually set attack_interval in JSON files does not persist, and the issue recurs immediately on server startup or when entities spawn.
Steps to Reproduce:
Run a Bedrock Dedicated Server version 1.21.131.1.
Load any world with active hostile mobs.
Monitor the server logs for repeated
attack_intervalwarnings.
Observed Behavior:
Logs are flooded with repeated warnings.
Players are sometimes kicked due to behavior processing failures.
Editing JSON files for
attack_intervaldoes not resolve the issue permanently.
Expected Behavior:
attack_intervalshould default to a valid value when not explicitly set, or the server should not spam warnings and kick players.
Impact:
This bug prevents stable gameplay on large-scale servers, disrupts PvP and AI mob interactions, and is a severe hindrance for server operators.
