For the past week i have been unable to join any worlds whatsoever (mine created, marketplace, online or multiplayer)(though servers still work) all of a sudden.
I don’t think i did anything that could cause this except a recent ios update?
When i try to join a world it gets onto the locating server part before simply closing the app.
Thing I’ve noticed is that when joining a multiplayer world, their screen says in chat that i’ve joined, though i still get crashed anyway and after a few seconds it says for them that i’ve left.
(Also this issue remains even after attempts at restarting my phone, closing and deleting any active resource packs, saving storage on phone from other apps but none of that helped either)

I was using a custom skin (it unloads often annoyingly so i have to put it back, may’ve done so and forgotten?)
However i deleted that skin and used another custom, created a new default and also restarted my phone before creating a new default, but after each of these three the issue still occurred and wouldn’t let me join.
Are you using a non-default skin? If so, does the issue still occur if you create a new character and use one of the default skins?
