Entities despawn with certain conditions

Entities that shouldn’t despawn or disappear such as minecart, boats, villager or animal that has been made persistent by breeding or interacted with but not named disappear in some conditions.

Villager also suffer from this but seems to be persistent after being linked with a valid bed.

This also include projectile. Mainly trident and arrows which disappear after being use. That however, should not happen.

For my world setting, everything is pure vanila with no modification to entities or mobs whatsoever.

To reproduce the bug:

Conditions For projectile:

• Throw a trident on the ground and wait right there for a couple minutes (should take less than 3 minutes).

• Do not pick it up while experimenting as it’ll defeat the purpose of doing so.

Expected results:

• the trident (and projectile mentioned above) stayed on the ground even after being use for a long time.

Experimented results:

• the projectile disappeared after about 1 to 2 minutes.

Conditions For mobs and vehicle:

Set the mob in states that should made them persistent. For example, breeding.

Go out 6 to 10 chunks and unload them.

Wait for a while and come back.

Expected results:

• The subject stays after multiple rounds of unloading.

Experimented results:

• the subject disappeared without any trace
