Steps to reproduce the issue:
Create a new world in Creative Mode with Cheats enabled
Switch to Spectator mode
Use the /kill command
Expected result:
The player does not die and a message is sent saying “Players cannot be killed in Spectator mode“
Actual result:
The player is killed in Spectator mode
We're tracking this issue at MCPE-153869, so I will resolve and link this report as a duplicate.
That report has already been resolved as working as intended, which means this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked report.
