Summary:
After the GDK update, Minecraft no longer honors the Scrolling Direction setting configured in Windows when using an external mouse. Instead, the game always uses the default scrolling behavior. This issue does not affect internal pointing devices such as laptop touchpads, which still respect the user’s chosen setting.
Steps to Reproduce:
Connect an external mouse to the system.
In Windows, navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Mouse.
Locate the Scrolling Direction setting.
Change the setting from Down motion scrolls down to Down motion scrolls up.
Launch Minecraft.
Open any scrollable menu, such as the Settings menu.
Scroll down.
Observed Results:
Minecraft ignores Windows’ scrolling direction preference and scrolls downward.
Expected Results:
Minecraft should respect the user’s scrolling direction preference and scroll upward, consistent with the behavior in the UWP version and with laptop touchpads.
