if you put a Baby horse and you tie it high to the fence then if you remove it the baby horse's rope to the fence, it won't fall

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Grab fences, then build a vertical tower of 5 or more fences

  2. Then, spawn a mob you like, (only baby horses have this issue.)

  3. Then, tie up the spawned mob

  4. Then, unrope the mob by clicking 2 times, wihout moving.


Expected result

When unrope the mob from tower of fence will be falling

Actual result

When unrope the mob from tower of fence will not fall.


Observed result:

I observed that with the fix of the chase of the skys drop did fixed this strange behavior what was occuring, to mobs going up or down if being tie up to the tower of vertical fence, but at same time did brought new issues to physics,

Fix update:

Chase the Skys drop changelog:

In all other cases, entities align to the direction they are being pulled and no longer behave erratically when suspended mid-air.

What did bringed?: this change mentioned in the fix update section did bring new issue to the mobs when lead up and removing the lead to the mob will be like floating instead of falling in the ground.

I cannot reproduce this on Windows. Could you record a longer video showing how you leashed the mobs?

This issue i tested in nintendo swich oled not in windows.

And regarding recording long i cannot by the limits.

I did reproduced this with some specific horses variant:

Baby horses

There will be more horses can reproduce this, will update a list with all horses.

There will be others horses with this bug, but couldn't find others, but will try to search others horses.

Note: to reproduce this issue you need to leash the small horses to the vertical fences, then when leashed the small horses, then press right button to remove the rope.
