Waxed Copper Chest Lacks Unique Texture Support

In the latest Bedrock Edition, Mojang added copper chests and their variants. However, waxed copper chests do not have separate textures, making it impossible to independently modify their appearance. Unlike other blocks, chests have an entity component, preventing the use of blocks.json and terrain_texture.json to assign different textures to waxed copper chests compared to unwaxed ones. This limitation may cause issues for future Marketplace resource packs.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Import [mediaInline] and apply it to a test world.

  2. Place a copper chest in the world.

  3. Wax the chest with honeycomb.

  4. Ctrl + pickblock the chest.

Observed Result:
The chest appears as a copper chest in the world, but as a cobweb in the inventory. There is no other way to modify the texture of the waxed copper chest or any of its variants.

Expected Result:
The copper chest in the world appears as cobweb when waxed. In general, waxed copper chests should support unique textures, allowing resource packs to customize them independently.
