Behavior- and resource packs are only added to behavior_packs or resource_packs folders when the packs are added at world creation.
When packs are added to an already existing world only the entry in the json file is being added. The packs wonβt be added to the behavior_packs or resource_packs folder.
This has the consequence that when you are exporting a world where the packs have been added at a later point in time they are not included in the exported .mcworld file.
This means that if played on a system where the packs are not availabe anyway they wonβt function.
They wonβt function on the original system either if the packs were deleted in the meantime via the settings.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Create a world without adding packs.
Leave the world.
Now add packs to the world.
Expected result:
behavior_packs and resource_packs folders of the world should contain the packs
Actual result:
behavior_packs and resource_packs folders of the world are empty

Here are two example packs to test this.
The BP sends a message in chat when you do /reload
And the RP has a particle that can be spawned with /particle baum:black
