Vibrant Visuals: Volumetric Fog Quality Ultra has an extreme performance impact

I am not using any add-ons or resource packs

Setting fog quality to ultra has more impact than any other setting. It almost halves your FPS.
This doesn’t really make sense, there isn’t any noticable visual improvements for this setting to decrease perfromance that significantly

Reproduction Steps:
- Set Vibrant Visuals preset to Favor Visuals
- If Volumetric Fog Quality isn’t already set to High, set it to High
- Now set VFQ to Ultra
- Compare your FPS

Observed Results:
- VFQ Ultra nearly halves your FPS compared to VFQ High

Expected Results:
- VFQ Ultra wouldn’t be nearly as performance intensive

I’m encountering this as well on Windows 10 with a 3090ti and 5950X. It’s not just a performance impact but it appears that it locks your FPS at half v-sync. I always get 144 unless I put volumetric fog on ultra, then I get 72 FPS.
