I know this issue has been around for a while and the issue has probably already been reported, but my friend is unable to play with me because he has to connect an Microsoft account to Minecraft. However, because he forgot his email and by now his old account got deleted he can't switch or sign into his Microsoft account and now he is stuck unable to get the full experience of Minecraft. I believe the problem should be a top priority and so I am re-reporting the issue to be more public and hopefully fixed so not just my friend but others can enjoy the game. (I know this isn't entirely Mojang's fault but I believe they have the tools to possibly fix it and make the game greater than it already is.)
Edit - I have attached an image with a person who is having what I believe to be an similar issue.
