Relates to MC-269403, which has been fixed in 24w12a. Mace should not be able to mine any block at a higher speed than hand.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place some harder blocks (i.e. stone, deepslate)
Try to break them with mace and hand in survival
Compare mining speeds
Observed Results:
Mace can mine any block at a higher speed than hand.
Expected Results:
Mace should mine any block at the same speed as hand.

You can find that this behavior is just like sword, so possibly also relates to MCPE-93323.
The mace mining speed of glass block has 1.35 Seconds, A stone is 5.41 Seconds (Faster than Java mining speed, 7.9 Secs) and reinforced deepslate has 55.30 Seconds (Faster than java, 1:22.93 Secs) without an enchantments
This would be confirm that possible problem.
