Sculk Sensor triggers repeatedly when there are arrows or tridents on top of it

When throwing items or projectiles (such as arrows or tridents) above a Sculk Sensor, it continues to trigger repeatedly. This behavior persists even after the items or projectiles have landed. However, if the thrown items are picked up, the repetition stops.

Steps

  1. Place a Sculk Sensor.

  2. Throw any item or projectile (e.g., arrows or tridents) above the Sculk Sensor.

  3. Observe that the Sculk Sensor continues to trigger repeatedly, even after the items or projectiles have landed.

  4. If the thrown items are picked up, the repetition stops.

Expected Results:

The Sculk Sensor should trigger only once when an item or projectile is thrown above it. Once the items or projectiles have landed, the Sculk Sensor should no longer trigger.

Observed Results:
The Sculk Sensor triggers repeatedly even after the items or projectiles have landed. The repetition only stops when the thrown items are picked up.

Sculk Sensors reacting repeatedly to thrown items lying on top of them is consistent between Bedrock Edition and Java Edition.

However, the same is not the case for arrows or tridents that are lodged into Sculk Sensors. I would suggest changing the ticket to be about arrows and tridents specifically.
