Whole minecraft world is empty !?

I started a world with my brother where we build something together so big houses and such. I on my PC he on the nintendo switch the map was on my PC one evening I saved the world and drove my PC down the next day the map was empty I would find it really a pity if you could not do anything there we work on it for some time.
