If nether biomes generate on old worlds that are created on 1.14 it corrupts the world and it breaks the game, how could nether biomes generate on old worlds? Theres still fires on these biomes, it generates random structures which it happened on 1.16
Steps to Reproduce:
1. If your world on created on 1.14, use the nether portal
2. enter the nether
3. Find places you didn't explore

This happens as normal. After 1.17, if you go to an area you didn't explore, you will find new mountains and caves even if it is an old world. This happened with the Village and Pillage update and the Aquatic Update too.

The report you have submitted is working as intended: New features are supposed to generate in unexplored chunks after updating the world to a new version.
Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
