What I expected to happen was...:
I expected that i will open minecraft and start playing
What actually happened was...:
It didn't work
Steps to Reproduce:
1. you open minecraft
2.you put version 1.9
3.you click play and nothing happens

There was no Game Output there were only three tabs
(i did try to restart and it didn't fix it)
Please download & install the current Launcher installation from https://minecraft.net/download
When that doesn't help: For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
Please attach the complete output of the "Launcher Log" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher to this ticket.
