Minecraft Launcher fails to install on Ubuntu 25.10 due to outdated dependency names (v.3.22.20-2.3.2)

The current Minecraft Launcher .deb package fails to install on Ubuntu 25.10
(and likely other recent distributions) due to two issues:

  1. Hard dependency on libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 which was renamed to
    libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0 (dots replaced with dashes) in newer Ubuntu versions

  2. Hard dependency on default-jre doesn't recognize already installed
    OpenJDK versions (openjdk-21-jre, openjdk-17-jre, etc.)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download Minecraft.deb from launcher.mojang.com

  2. Try to install on Kubuntu (current, proved)/Ubuntu/etc 25.10: sudo apt install ./Minecraft.deb or via Discover (current, proved)/other app store

  3. Installation fails with unmet dependencies

Expected behavior:
Installation should succeed if any compatible Java runtime is installed and use alternative package names for cross-version compatibility.

Suggested fix:
Update DEBIAN/control dependencies to use alternatives (OR syntax):

Current:
Depends: default-jre, libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 (>= 2.22.0)

Suggested:
Depends: default-jre | openjdk-21-jre | openjdk-17-jre | openjdk-11-jre | openjdk-8-jre,
libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0 (>= 2.22.0) | libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 (>= 2.22.0) or other compatible.

Workaround:
Users need to manually edit the .deb package using dpkg-deb to fix dependencies and build it.
