I just helped my son download the launcher. Multiplayer works in bedrock. I reverified my parental controls for him. Online I found help suggestions that we should uninstall the launcher form the MS store and download and install from the website. We did that. We signed out and back in. Java still says to check the settings to enable multiplayer. What else can we do?
Environment
Windows 10, up to date. Latest download and install of Minecraft as of today from Microsoft site (not store).
