The Item models' "translation" changed. I used a resource pack that would show the pumpkin head a little higher. I will attach a screenshot compared with 1.8.9 and 15w51b, and as you can see, it was lowered for some reason.
(I would really want this to be fixed because those maps that use custom model would corrupt...)

This is not a duplication. MC-84274 is saying about the default, non-resource pack using item location. This one is using resource packs, and changing the item's location.
