Put the summary of the bug you're having here
When I control-clicked a daylight sensor with night-time sensor mode on, I gained a daylight sensor with NBT but upon placing it it reverted to a day-daylight sensor.
What I expected to happen was to gain a daylight sensor that upon placing would be a night-time sensor
What actually happened was I got a daylight sensor that placed a daylight sensor
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a daylight sensor.
2. Right click it to turn it into a night-time sensor.
3. Control-click it to gain a daylight sensor with NBT.
4. Place the daylight sensor with NBT and observe how it does not have night-time sensor mode on.

I guess 😛 Sorry it's invalid, I don't know too much about metadata, tile entity etc: only just enough to do a little bit of command block magic.
Invalid. The night time state of light sensors is stored in the block state / metadata, not in tile entity data. Ctrl+Pickblock only helps on blocks with tile entity data (NBT). Anyway, is it really that hard to just place a normal sensor and right click it?
