The game worked just fine in 1.7.9, however upon transitioning to 1.8, models in the game started to glitch out, even to the point of taking up the entire screen. It applies to players and mobs alike. Single player and Multiplayer.
Even reinstalling Minecraft entirely did not fix the issue. Please help, I'd greatly appreciate it! The console output for the latest crash on my client is attached, as well as three screenshots to show what I'm talking about.

Thank you for the advice; I tried Minecraft on my Mac environment and it works perfectly. The reason I asked in the first place is because I run a Hamachi server - but I've now transferred all of that to Mac OS. Thanks again!
PS. It does confuse me though, since Minecraft has always worked on Parallels beforehand. Any explanations for that?
It seems kind of a big workaround to run it on a VM while both Hamachi and Minecraft have a functioning Mac edition. Note that the glitching mobs is MC-65040, but the crash is a valid issue on its own.
The crash is caused by a broken OpenGL implementation in Parallels:
OpenGL: Parallels using ATI Radeon HD 6770M OpenGL Engine GL version 2.1 ATI-1.24.35, Parallels and ATI Technologies Inc.
There is a dilemma here: This issue only occurs when using a third party software (Parallels), which is not even required to run the game. Will leave this open, but will mark it as to be resolved as "Won't Fix" (which basically also means unfixable) by a developer.
