In some configurations, Redstone lamps refuse to blink properly while in others they do.
In the pictures, placing 1 lamp causes them all to stop blinking. Removing it causes them to blink like they should. Screenshot 1 is the normal one that blinks right, and the other one is when they stop working.

if you add enough lamps, you can observe this issue even with the clock period increased by 1 redstone tick.
In 1.5.2, using 1 lamp shows normal blinking. The second you add more lamps, the lamps take less time to turn back on when blinking until eventually they do not blink anymore.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.4 / Launcher version 1.3.8 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Appears as if the more lamps are used, the less likely they will blink.
