Command Not Triggering

As shown in the pictures below I have set up a contraption that always will make it daytime when night comes automatically or through /time set night. In which when it is night time the command will be triggered by the torch making it daytime again. Through a command block I have /time set 17500 @a, through that command the torch will still trigger the command block but will not set the time to day.

The Daylight Sensor does not output a signal during the night.

No, there's a redstone signal feeding from the sensor into a block with a off redstone torch. The redstone torch when lit feeds a signal to turn on the command block making it daylight. Though with this setup the torch will only light when it's nighttime. When manually setting it to night, the command doesn't register. I'll try to make a video for a better understanding.

Yes please do that.

I can't seem to tape it right now, but I found that in part 1 of Captainsparklez snapshot review of this it is shown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq1VDzQM8Sw

After watching it still everything works as intended.

You know it strongly depends on the redstone setup, so it's pointless to discuss whether something is a bug if we don't even know the exact setup. Please provide screenshots of your Daylight Sensor - Command Block setup.

I have provided screenshots and an explanation.

Works as intended. Time setting is a universal command. Get rid of the @a. Also, everything in your screenshots looks normal.

The signal has to reach the torch first during the day, changing time before it reaches the torch won't do anything! It needs a more complex redstone mechanism for it to always trigger.

Ok. Thanks you for the suggestion, I'll try to build something like that.
