[MC-58017] Torch Particles appear to be disappeared

Well place a torch, I dont get the particles.
It doesn't show it at Video Settings Particles All or Decreased anywhere. With decreased it should also show up something. But Maximum doesn't even work.

Turn Particles on.

Options --> Video Settings --> Particles: All or Decreased

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.

This is very strange indeed. I restarted my computer and it seems to work again. I think it is some kind of bug that causes it sometimes to disappear :/
It will propaply occur more times in the future
I'll Force a crash when it occurs once again

All right. It seems my settings don't save propaply. My Particles were to All, but it still showed the minimal. What should not do that. It should aswell save my settings and don't reset it to the most anoying parts. What happend in 1.6.4 and before. And it seems it now starts once all over again

After having this issue: Quit Minecraft and compare if the particles setting in options.txt corresponds with the in game setting:

Particles: Minimal --> particles:2
Particles: Reduced --> particles:1
Particles: All --> particles:0
