Barrier block not available in creative mode menu

The new barrier block is not listed in the creative mode inventory, the only way to get it is to run /give <player> minecraft:barrier 1.

What I expected to happened was:
The barrier block (minecraft:barrier) to be available in the creative mode inventory.

What actually happened was:
The barrier block is not listed in the creative mode inventory.
