bugged potion textures in 1.7.2

all my potion textures are bugged!
ok, ever since i played snapshot 1.7.1, the potion textures were all glitchy, but only on my linux computer, i tried on my linux laptop, and it had no problem with the textures, i really dont know what im doing wrong, also, when i put my curser on a spawn egg, it shows little particles glitching everywhere. so please please help me!
P.S and i went back to version 1.6.4, and the potions looked fine too!
