When a twisting vine is placed on top of another, the lower vine shifts downward slightly, which is a texture issue.
How to reproduce:
Place a twisting vine
Place another twisting vine above
Take a closer look at the bottom left of the bottom twisting vine
Expected result:
The bottom twisting vine would not move down.
Observed result:
The bottom twisting vine shifts down slightly, which is clearly visible in the bottom left.

You're correct, this isn't an issue with stretched textures. However, it is still related to MC-214078 because both cases involve the textures of the top block and lower blocks of a plant not lining up perfectly. In this case, the big dripleaf stem texture is stretched, which causes the misalignment, making it related to the mentioned report. (Also, I posted this comment to regain access to a link to MC-214078, as typing "214078" doesn't create an automatic link.)

This is not a case of stretched textures, unlike 214078. The problem here is that the
twisting_vines_plantandtwisting_vinestexture files don't line up perfectly.
