Wood doesn't burn when nearby lava.

When placing a wood block nearby lava, the expected result is the wood burning, but apparently not. Wood only burns when it is inside the lava rather than burning when its so close to it.

How to reproduce

Start by obtaining some wood and a lava bucket
Then place a wood block next to the lava, its not gonna burn.

Observations: Wood doesn't burn nearby lava
Expectations: It should burn as long as it interacts with lava.

Can't reproduce this. Is the 'doFireTick' gamerule enabled? Also, fire spreading is fairly random. In the video you waited for a brief moment, but you may want to speed this up by increasing the tick rate.

Jiingy I'm gonna reproduce this again, maybe you're right. But even if so fire shouldn't take too long to spread around wood.

Update: Jiingy Turns out my tick rate was under 20 and was a little slow, after increasing it to 100 wood started to actually catch on fire. Anyways thanks for the command 🙂
