Are, uh, pigs supposed to be afraid of mud?

So, uh, just got done placing down some mud for my pigs, and, erm, kinda had to leash them away form the area while I put the mud blacks down, you know, so they wouldn't get in the way of building, and, well, now that the mud is placed, all the pigs are to be staying on the opposite side of the paddock, seeming to be intentionally avoiding the mud I placed down for them.  So, erm, is there any reason for this behavior?  I tried leading them over to the mud with a carrot, and while they did follow me onto the mud, when I got rid of the carrot, they all gravitated back toward the side of the paddock away from the mud.  So. any advice, or do I just have really weird pigs?  Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

What direction are the pigs moving towards? Could you attach an F3, debug screenshot facing that way?

Firstly, the pigs all seemed to be moving in the Positive X, or East, direction.  However, it would seem that restarting the game has fixed the issue, but still, might not hurt to take a look at the code for the pigs, just in case, as this problem could spring up again later on.  Maybe I just have weird pigs.  Oh well.
