debug key does not work if you need fn key

What happens if you press f3 without holding fn? Do the fn keys work like you expect in other applications?

Are you aware of any settings in your keyboard, BIOS/UEFI, or OS that would cause f3 by itself to output the f3 keycode while fn+f3 outputs some media keycode (such as increasing volume) or vice versa?

it works apart from when i press L

i know of no other thing that uses f3

it controls volume 

I'm struggling to understand what the issue is here. Please could you provide some steps on how to go about reproducing this problem? Additionally, attaching some screenshots or videos whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled would be greatly appreciated.

Managed to do it
