for some unknown reason, if I am running with Ctrl + W, I stop pressing W for a sec while keeping Ctrl on and when I press W again it doesn't start walking, I have to turn off Ctrl and then press W, its the first time I've encountered it on 1.16.5

Can't confirm for 1.16.5 It works fine for me I press CTRL-W then stop pressing W and I press W again with CTRL still on it still make my character run.
