Cant join minecraft! ;(

So I am a Minecraft fan and a few days ago I noticed something strange. I couldn't access skins through the actual Minecraft game, but I didn't mind as I could still update it through the website, however yesterday I tried to use Minecraft but I couldn't get it to launch. It looks like a crash report but it doesn't actually say it. I haven't actually been using the Minecraft launcher, I have been using a client called badlion. It isn't a hacked client and thousands of people use it, so I'm not sure for how long this bug has been going on since I haven't been using the Minecraft launcher often. I ended the badlion task in task manager and can no longer join ANY version of Minecraft on the Minecraft launcher, and can only launch 1.8.9 on badlion. So I have just recently reformatted my computer to try and fix this issue but it still didnt do anything! I have two account and neither of them can actually join Minecraft. I really would appreciate If anyone knows what to do to fix this because I have loved Minecraft for a long time.
