Fire resistance amplifier doesnt effect under lava visibility

So I was trying out the new Update and testing all new features including the fire resistance making being under the lava more clear. But I did /effect to give myself a higher amplifier of the fire resistance effect and then I went under the lava and I noticed it didn't make the lava visibility more clear.
