Xbox One uses Bedrock version, not Java version.
The release Bedrock version is 1.14.60
The Beta Bedrock version is 1.16.0.57
Java is for Linux or MAC PC (and some windows PC)
Consoles like Xbox One and Xbox One X and PS4 use the Bedrock version of the game. And the smelting of the Gold ore and Guilded Blackstone and Sand in the furnace or Blast Furnace isn't working for a lot of people on the Bedrock 1.16.0.57 Beta.
This is indeed the wrong project, I have therefore resolved the report as "Invalid". The issue you are describing has already been reported, see MCPE-68978
