Relates to MC-174480, though it is a different issue. When mining nether gold ore, piglins are not angered. This is inconsistent with them being angered when gold blocks are mined.

I think this should be reopened. That ticket was created before the implementation of nether gold ore, and considering it generates in the nether, it might not be WAI.
I'm aware they do the same thing, but overworld gold ore does not generate in the nether. That difference is big enough in this case that this ticket should be left open imo.
@Emma Hate to say it but nether gold ore is now included in the list of MC-172351.
