Farmland not getting hydrated and crops not growing

After moving my world from 1.7.2 to 1.14.3, farmland is not able to get hydrated anymore and crops are not growing anymore.

In the screenshot I've provided you can see some farmland completely hydrated (done in version 1.7.2), the not-hydrated farmland blocks, instead, have been added in 1.14.3.

Crops are not growing at all and I've been waiting for 1 full real life day.
