Horse teleports after dismounting

What I expected to happen was...:
To dismount the horse and have it stay there

What actually happened was...:
The horse disappeared and I couldn't find it for a while but eventually did find it, really far away

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ride faster horse 
2. Suddenly jump off and place bed and go to sleep
3. Wake up

4. Search for horse, re-logged in, looked for it and eventually found it

I can sometimes hear the horse, but I couldn't see it.
