I started a new world. placed a villager on a 2x2 block grouping. placed down 2 detector rails in opposite corners. placed a minecart down with one villager in the minecart. did one trade with it. 20 min later, 2 babies were there with the one original villager.
never put another villager with it, just the one.

i guess i would ask you to reopen this. clearly my message was not read. I did not place 3 villagers on this block. Nor could they have reproduced with only one adult on the 2x2 block and 2 children over 20 minutes later. I wish to god i had saved the screenshots with only one entity in the world. you need to fix this.
