Walking from ground level onto anvil

When walking off an anvil onto the ground, if there is another anvil nearby you can walk up onto it.

What I expected to happen was...:
I would walk off an anvil and stay on the ground

What actually happened was...:
I walked off an anvil, and onto another one.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place 2 anvils, with 1m of space between them
2. Stand on one anvil
3. Walk towards the other without jumping
